Artist's Description
Welcome the energies of the asteroid Chariklo into your life with this original artwork. This mythological water-nymph's astrological meanings include inner sovereignty, resilience, tenderness, graceful reason, inclusion, integrity, nurturing, compassion, and most notably, a future orientation - taking a risk when change is needed. In Greek mythology, Chariklo was the wife of the famous centaur Chiron, the wounded healer. In this painting, you can just make out Chiron, kneeling by the waterside and peering through the water, as they catch the first glimpse of each other. Watercolour and ink painting.
About Linda Gemmill
Based in a remote coastal village in the South East of England, I draw inspiration from the natural world and my deep passion for all things esoteric, including astrology and the energies of the powerful Asteroid Goddesses: my muse, the Divine Feminine - the Great Mother in her many powerful expressions.
